Exchange Rate Savings

1) Better Exchange Rates

We would usually expect to give you an exchange rate between 1% and 5% better than your bank if you have small regular international payments to make.

How can World First offer better exchange rates than the banks? The high street banks generally take large margins from the "interbank" rate. By aggregating all our client transactions, (we will transact over NZ $4 billion in 2009), which enables us to access the interbank market. We simply take a smaller margin from this rate and pass the saving onto our customers.

2) Payment Costs

Our regular payment fee is just NZ $25 per international transfer, and free if the payment is in New Zealand dollars to a domestic New Zealand account.
